Vast areas of Australia (and other parts of the world) were once oceans and with the shifting of tectonic plates things change. In fact, 470 million years ago the summit of Mount Everest was on the sea floor. Amazing right? And here's humans thinking that nothing will ever change. Idiots huh? Everything changes.
