Some of the enjoyment I get from firearms has nothing to do with the actually shooting but the science. Of course, the science is required to make the shooting achievable but it can be fascinating right?

I'm not one to play around as much as you, I don't have the equipment or know-how, but I know people who do and we do our share of messing around with interesting results...none I can say here.

Good question on the spin balance. I can only assume that some smart-ass science boffin has that sort of equipment to hand. Might be something interesting to research.
