Yeah, it was a bit shit...I think the valve might have failed somehow, let the air out and when low enough, and hot enough, the tyre let go. Yeah, they're not very old tyres so I'm a bit annoyed.
I don't need mud terrain tyres, they came with the camper though so I ran with them - They're overkill for what I have here...South Australia is dry, not muddy. The tyres on my Landcruiser are the factory ones as I want to get some use from them - The vehicle only has 25,000km on it from new. I'm putting BF Goodrich K02 all-terrain tyres on soon. I had them on my Ranger and they are awesome, well more than anyone really needs. Muddy's are overrated to be honest - I've had them and all they were was noisy, ruined fuel economy and I actually never needed them. I'll probably change the camper over to them as well now although they won't be interchangeable with the vehicle as the rim size is different.
