Healthcare is a slippery slope, necessary evil? Hmm, I'm not sure...what I know is that it's costly and the return rarely seems commensurate to the outlay. They talk about medical advances and yet I wonder if it's becoming too costly for normal people to afford? A big problem. I fear we're heading into a situation as depicted in the movie, Elysium, where the rich have all transported into a habitat in space (where every and any health issue can be cured easily) and the poor languish on earth in sickness and poverty.
