Good question.

Yes is the answer, Faith is very in-tune with these sorts of things and so, by default, I experience them; Sure, not as vividly as her, but through her, so to speak.

I had a something sit on the end of our bed once...I don't know what but it was definitely there. You know how when someone does that and the covers go tight on the feet? I got that feeling. (Wasn't the cat as we didn't have one at the time.) I think it was Faith's dad. See below.

The house we live in is the one we bought of Faith's mum. (It was her family home from birth). We moved away for a while and my dad lived here, but we moved back in to help him out 8 years ago. Anyway...

Her dad died quite tragically when she was 11 and years later Faith was here with her friend from school, I was at work that night. They were laughing and stuff, chatting at the dinner table over coffee etc. All of a sudden Holly, her friend, burst into tears and freaked out. They'd been laughing hysterically just prior. Faith looked at her in wonderment as Holly was completely freaked out and then Holly calmed, but was white as a ghost. Faith asked WTF (not like that of course) and Holly said...I just saw your dad.

Faith was a bit upset thinking it was a joke but Holly persisted. You see, she was sitting at the table facing into the lounge room and Faith had her back to the lounge room facing Holly. Holly went on to explain that she saw a man standing in the lounge room smiling at them. She couldn't quite make out his face although he was tall, reddish-blonde hair and fair of skin. He'd smiled broadly then was gone.

Faith didn't believe her as she knew Holly has seen photos of her dad (she'd never met him as he'd died before Faith went to high school.) Then Holly said, he had something in his teeth, glinting in the light, like a gold tooth or something.

That's when it hit home...Faith's dad was exactly as Holly had described and had a gold tooth also. Holly never knew that fact so...There it is I guess. As it turns out, Holly's mum was renowned for having conversations with people that were there, but not, you know?

This sort of thing happens a lot, not just here either. See the story below I wrote only a few weeks ago. We love history and have been to old places where Faith has seen or felt things, some welcoming and others malicious. Port Arthur in Tasmania is one such place. You know, the 1800's penal colony and where Martyn Bryant shot 34 people in the 1990's. We did the night tour...Freaky, but the worst for me was the asylum...I simply couldn't stay in there...Felt a weight pressing me down, like I was walking through honey. Black honey. It was bad.

I'll be honest, that story below, and this comment is the first I've spoken about it here on hive. I don't know why...Just a bit freaky. I have felt things, some when out camping and hunting..It's unnerving for me. I'm a fairly robust sort of guy, can take care of myself, but this stuff gives me the chills.

Oh, and yes our stuff goes missing here sometimes...Turns up in the oddest of places.

I wrote the below...It's based on true events...(Don't worry, it's short).
