The elk is not one I would have expected although they are a legit animal. I watched a doco (documentary) about them some time last year and they are pretty cool things, especially in their mating time when they engage in their mating displays of posturing and sparring plus that loud bugle sound they make to establish dominance over the others. This of course is the males. I'm not sure what the females do...Stand there and look alluring I guess.
