So yeah, it can be difficult to come back from plagiarism here. We have a long memory. It's made worse by refusing to address it I think. Justifying it or lying about it is just as bad as doing it in the first place.

People forget that nothing is hidden on the blockchain and that someone is usually watching, especially once someone is exposed as a plagiarist.

Theres's no rules but for me a heartfelt apology will go a long way towards helping to redeem oneself...Then to never plagiarise again of course.

I'm not sure how things stand with that user but I distanced myself. Here on the chain guilty by association is a thing to some extent, as it is in the real world too. It's unlikely I'll follow that user again for various reasons however I'll keep an eye on them and my pointer on the downvote button for sure. Conversely, if they do the right thing I'll upvote. People need a chance to redress their errors.

In this particular case there are other extenuating circumstances that I'll not go into that relate to that association thing I mentioned. I hope that user goes in the right direction because if not their days are probably numbered as the community will address them.
