Eight years of drought...The government don't have that much money. It's a dire situation really. The thing is, that these areas are likely to get flooded out and washed away when rains do come. It's a brutal place at times. The government are trucking water in but that's not really much of a solution. If rain comes it's unlikely to be enough, or in time. It's kind of crazy really, but it's not the first time and won't be the last.
