The screensaver and the next photo are rooks. Serious birds. At least they look important. They try to dominate the neighbors' birds, but cunning jackdaws are not always inferior to them.
Rooks
In our country, they live more in the city limits and are less often seen on the outskirts of the city.
Handsome off on a tree, sits and looks. In case of danger, he will give a sign to his friends. The danger is often imaginary. But the birds are careful.
Jackdaws
Smart birds. I often see how they can outwit rooks and even forty. Although you can also see them in the same company.
This beautiful jackdaw. It doesn't look like a jackdaw. But I know it's a jackdaw after all. She's just wet. Swimming in a puddle, she sat down on a branch. Need to dry the wings.
And this lady is elegance itself. Also a jackdaw. Looking for food in the grass. Fortunately, in the fall, it is easy for birds to find food.
Such a peculiar photo of a jackdaw turned out. The talkative bird turned out to be. She stood there and tried to tell me something. Most likely - stop photographing us. I pretended not to understand. Of course, such a beauty must be photographed.
Swamp chicken
These birds look a bit like domestic chickens. However, they are waterfowl. They live in the wild. For the winter they fly away to warmer regions. They prefer solitude. They often hide in coastal algae. Hence the name marsh chicken.
This is a young marsh hen. Although it is already large. Differs in appearance from an adult in a gray-brown color.
This beautiful adult marsh hen. Too shy bird. If he notices that they paid attention to her, then he immediately hides in the algae.
Doves
Are deprived of the attention of photographers. I rarely see them photographed. Probably because they are available for filming. They are not afraid of people. Unlike other birds, you can get close to them.
The impression is that there was a family quarrel. Dovewing took offense and decided to leave her friend. He looks after her with regret.
These handsome are sitting very close to the water. It was a sunny day and they basked in the sun.
This is the same photo in color.
These are already forest pigeons. They differ from urban pigeons in the shape of the body. And their plumage color is peculiar.
Куры
These are poultry.
In the foreground is the head of a chicken family, a proud rooster. In fact, he is handsome.
This is a beautiful chicken.
She's in color.
Wild ducks
I cannot ignore the ducks. They live with us all year round. I often watch these beautiful birds.
The duck made it to the shore and sits watching its friends who swim in the river.
Drake and duck stand on ice. In November, our river was periodically covered with ice. And the ducks got out onto the ice. And they walked on it funny.
This beauty has found an interesting refuge for herself.
Sparrows
Finally, in the fall, the sparrows appeared in the city. They can be seen as friendly families looking for food in the grass. And just as all together fly away together, if one of them lets know.
These sparrows were on the ground. as soon as I got closer, they immediately flew to the branches.
Managed to capture these beauties on the grass in search of food.
Рябинники
Beautiful birds outwardly. But nature did not endow them with a beautiful voice. Unlike their fellow blackbirds and songbirds.
I rarely see them lately. Although fieldfare lives with us all year round. It is interesting to watch them when they peck rowan.
Since there are many photographs in the article, not all of them were shown in the original. Only some.
