Nature has endowed this bird with a thin curved beak and long tail. Thanks to them, the bird steadily held in an upright position. It is so convenient for her to get her food in the bark of trees.
These birds belong to the passerine family. Has a pronounced variegated coloration on the back and white on the chest. There are several species of this bird, but only one species lives in our parks. Watching these birds is still quite interesting. I always find them on tree trunks, but not as often as I would like. This year I saw only two times.
Eurasian Treecreeper in perpetual motion. Perhaps that is why it can still be seen, although it is small and merges in color with the bark of trees. Unless she climbs high to the very top of the tree trunk. What does she like to do when she notices that she is being watched.
The bird is small in size, but quite beautiful. It's good that the still light chest flickers when moving.
Recently I was walking along the sidewalk and suddenly I heard a characteristic squeak. Not very loud, but well defined. I stopped. I began to look with my eyes where the sounds were coming from. Yes, this is a pika bird nimbly moving along the trunk.
I managed to take several pictures before the Eurasian Treecreeper climbed high up, where I could no longer reach it with the lens.
I know that this bird is in perpetual motion, so I was in a hurry to press the camera shutter faster. Here it is no longer up to the foreshortening. If only to have time to photograph.
All pictures are similar to each other. The bird moved along the trunk in almost the same body position. The tree has a voluminous trunk. So, apart from the bark of the tree and the bird itself, nothing else is visible.
But still I like this little bird. I try to photograph her whenever possible. It's a pity that I rarely see them in parks. Perhaps, I do not always see it, since the plumage of the bird on the back merges with the color of the bark of the trees. And this bird is larger and can be seen from the back. After all, she is in eternal search for food.
