Every spring, I hear loud talking frogs. At this time they have a mating season, frog "weddings". Usually such a period begins in April, but this year the spring is cold, only recently the temperature has risen so much that real spring can be felt. It used to be very cold, apparently, and the frogs had no time for weddings. But now they are having a lot of fun.
You walk along the river and hear croaking in different places. They talk in chorus at the same time, it's so funny to listen to them. It seems that the frogs are very close on the shore. Yes, they get out closer to the shore, they like to bask in the sun, sit on a broken branch that accidentally fell into the water. They get out on the grass. But it is worth getting closer, as they immediately leave the place and jump into the water and quickly disappear. But lucky today. Although we did not manage to get closer and there are too many algae in the places where croaking frogs lived, we still managed to photograph them and shoot a video on camera, a link to it will be at the end of the article, it contains frog games, they are very funny.
The frogs frolicked so merrily, chased each other, jumped, I couldn't take clear photos, but I'm glad that I finally managed to watch the frogs for several minutes.
Note that in the photo above, the frog has inflated bubbles on both sides of the mouth. These are kind of sound resonators. They amplify the sound to attract females. Such bubbles (some frog breeds have one bubble) are inherent in male frogs.
It's warm outside, algae grow well, frogs look plump.
