Today I saw an unusual butterfly. This is the first time I've met one like this. It was a small butterfly with bright orange spots on the tips of its wings. The weather was too windy today. The butterfly circled next to me, sometimes perched on the grass, but immediately closed its wings.
As I already found out at home, this butterfly is called Dawn, in Latin Anthocharis cardamines. It turns out that this is a rare species of butterflies, in Moscow it is listed in the Red Book. Bright orange spots adorn the males' wings.

I also learned that the image of this butterfly is on the stamps of different countries. I think that it is well deserved to capture such a beauty.
It is a pity that today there was such a strong wind that it was not possible to photograph the butterfly in flight with its wings spread. The wind threw the butterfly in different directions. Sinking on the grass, the butterfly did not open its wings to show its beauty closer. But I admired her in flight.
But on the other hand, if the butterfly sat on the grass and immediately spread its wings, then I would not see the pattern on the wings from the back side. He is also interesting and deserves attention.
