There is a river not far from my house. Wild ducks live here. And on the shore you can often see a flock of pigeons. They sit on the parapet and watch the ducks swim. Apparently they would like to swim like ducks. At the slightest opportunity, pigeons try to get into the water. Even if it's a muddy puddle. Even if it's cold outside, as it is now in late autumn. So this time it was with great pleasure that I watched the pigeons plunge into a puddle.
In this photo, the pigeons are gathered for a meeting, sitting in a puddle. As if they are planning to discuss something important.
Golub looked funny in a puddle. Everyone tried to plunge into the water as much as possible. Some active pigeons pushed others aside. They themselves tried to get into the very center of the puddle.
The white dove surprised most of all. Too diligently he plunged into a muddy puddle. Apparently, the pigeon does not understand that its white plumage is too attractive to stain it so mercilessly in a puddle.
People were passing by. The guy was riding a bike. The pigeons flew away from the fright. Only one of the bravest remained in the puddle.
They watched aside, and then again the whole company came back together and sat in a puddle.
And again the birds continued to swim in the puddle. Some of the pigeons were just sitting in the water.
In the foreground of the photo, the pigeon on the far left was the most active among its friends.
Again the pigeons were frightened by the noise and they all flew away. Left alone in the laggards. But he also runs away.
In less than a minute, the pigeons returned to the puddle again.
Well, you need to quench your thirst. Although the puddle is dirty, it is still water.
And the white dove flew into a rage. He started jumping merrily in a puddle. Splashes flew from him in all directions at his friends.
And now he sits contentedly.
Our city pigeons had such a happy event.
The pigeons are happy, and I am with them. It's nice to watch the birds swim in the water. And in a puddle they are funny.
