The world we live is destined to be destroyed in its entirety as a punishment for its evil; as well as its inhabitants on the occasion of their iniquity. This is stated by the Word of the Lord.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass with great rumble, and the elements will be destroyed with intense fire, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned (2 Peter 3:10 )

However, we have the hope of the promise of Jesus who assures us that he will never forsake us and that he will provide us peace with our God, in response to our requests made with prayer and prayer.

Be firm and courageous, do not fear or be terrified of them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you; He will not leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31: 6).

Now, in the true church we have peace as a result of our faith in Jesus. That peace is in our hearts because we believe in his promise not to forsake us at any time and under any circumstances.

Those who know your name will put their trust in you, because you, O LORD, do not abandon those who seek you. (Psalm 9:10)

The Word of the Lord indicates that if we are in Christ he will be close, to protect us, and keep us from all evil and danger. Faith in this promise must take away from our hearts every thought of anguish or concern since God is with us.
