I wrote this song for my mother when she was dying from cancer. She told me she was scared of what would actually happen the day she did pass. I sang this to my mother a couple days after she expressed her fears. It was an amazing feeling that I could comfort the woman who had always been there to comfort me. After I sang it to her she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, " I want you to know that you were not only my daughter in this life, you were also my best friend." I miss my mother every day. I hope this song may be of comfort to someone else out there. Thank you for reading. My thoughts and words are my heart and I will continue to "pour it all out"
