Crockett County Wildlife Sergeant Robert Shannon is asking the public for help identifying the individuals that are responsible for the illegal killing and dumping of 92 birds. The dead birds included various songbirds, game birds, one Canada goose, and a chicken. The birds had been shot and dumped near the Crockett/Madison County line off Gasden and Todd Levee Rd within the last week. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Region 1 office at (731) 423-5725, the poaching hotline at 1-800-831-1173, or send a Facebook message.
