I understand what you are saying and worrying about, but I'd like to point out two things:

• the bear market is for all, and I've seen yesterday or the other day notifications about other alts higher ranked than STEEM reaching ATL. STEEM hasn't and hopefully won't.
• strategically speaking, we shouldn't push tons of money on advertising before these two conditions aren't yet met:
  • SMTs and Hive communities rolled out
  • easier onboarding, even for larger number of users at once (steps are being taken in this direction too).

About social media presence I couldn't agree more, the presence should be constant, almost nagging.
