He also has a significant amount of HP last time I checked, plus a community, so he did signal that he is serious about Hive, and not someone looking to extract yield on the short term and leave. But I didn't know he already has 2.2m HBD in savings. That shows, imo, that his trust in Hive actually increased over time. Otherwise, he would have kept that 1m generate yield and that's it.
