Does black&white photography or movie hurt your eye?
My son says that to me, each time I turn on the TV for a B&W film. Usually Romanian film.
That's understandable, to some extent. He's a kid of today, although he's listening to vinyl music.
But what would you say about a photographer who's so hooked on his vision of the black-and-white world he's opened his eyes onto, that he's hurt by the myriad of poorly made color photographs all over the place? With clashing colors, hues, colored greys, nuances or whatever you might call them, according to your background. Cacophonies for his very organized mind.
