I feel you as I've been addicted to playing mostly shooters for a long time, but there are really some incredible story-driven games out there, including the Life is Strange series. Sadly, these are not co-op or MP but you can always play it with your friends like each with his/her own progress and compare how much the story changes for each one, being a game driven by the decisions one takes in game. It would be fun.
