In my little home,
There was joy and laughter without any gloom.
In my little town,
Farming and hunting
Where what we did to survive.
There was no reason to frown
For everywhere, joy and peace thrived.
In my little world,
There existed comfort
Without luxury as a word.
There, everyone was happy and content,
No one was rich and no one was poor,
We were all equals to some extent.
Everything seemed perfect
Until the fair skinned men
Came with something different.
They came and broke down my little world.
Into disorganized pieces,
They ripped it apart without a single word.
Now my little home, my little town
And my little world cannot be mine again.
It is long lost and as for luxury,
Everyone has sought to again.
