Several days ago I was visiting my grandmother, and I found a very nice surprise. I found the old box of my old Wii, very, very old XD. I don't know if her grandmothers are the same, but mine loves to store meaningless things, for example, that box is from many years ago, they gave it to me on December 24, it was a beautiful gift. They gave me my Wii and it already came with a case, so I "discarded" that box, but no, my surprise was that my grandmother still had that box XD.
Today I want to tell you how beautiful that console was for me, and how sorry I am for selling it, although, of course, it was for a good cause. It all goes back to about 8 years ago, I was about 11-12 years old and they gave me this beautiful console, it was a gift in December but I started to play very anxiously as soon as I opened it, I knew almost nothing about this console, it came with some games and yes, it was quite pretty, I was not used to it at all, but my older cousins helped me configure its interface and that's it, I could play.
The console came with 5 games that my parents chose, but I think it was all thanks to the vendors, my parents didn't know anything about games XD, I think it was a very good recommendation. I had Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda, and Kirby's and I don't remember the last one XD. I remember that this console was very particular and I saw it as too new for me XD. I had just tried the PlayStation 2 a lot, but this one seemed much better to me (at that time), and without a doubt, little by little I was able to fully get used to it.
I really enjoyed Mario Kart, it was a very challenging game for me, and competing against my friends was what amused me the most. However, the AI was also quite useful, it wasn't bad at all, of course, when you became an expert in drifting, the AI was useless, but if your friends were also good enough like you, races could be too exciting. It was certainly one of the games I enjoyed the most on the Wii, too bad I haven't tried a Mario Kart this fun since then.
It was obviously a lot of fun to play with their wheel, you felt exactly like one of them.
Super Mario Galaxy is a game that I didn't take much importance on Wii, I only played it a few times and that's it, but I didn't enjoy it as I should have. I remember if I played too much on Nintendo DS. One game that surprisingly I was not too fond of that much was Kirby's. It was fun but it wasn't the best game I've played in my life either XD. Of course, I played Kirby's a few years ago and if I loved it, maybe at that time I had other tastes, idk...
The Legends of Zelda if I played it, specifically Twilight, it's crazy how good that title was xD. But I didn't know how to take advantage of it 100% either, I played it from time to time, and hey, it's not bad to do it that way, but these games are huge and I could never finish it, all because I was playing at times. I played a lot of other games, but I don't remember some very well, I tried some Call of Duty, Metroid, and a lot, a lot of Mario Party, I loved doing competitions with my friends, Mario is the best to share with friends, whoever thinks otherwise you are totally wrong...
I even saw once that they were selling SpongeBob games, crazy XD.
The section that I enjoyed all my life, was the Wii Sports, my Wii came with all the controls to play Tennis, Table Tennis, Soccer, Baseball, Golf, and Boxing. My God, I spent many hours burning calories playing tennis, it was too much fun and damn, very realistic on the Wii part, someone who has tried the same confirms it in the comments... The Soccer one was fun because you strapped on the controller at the foot and kicked penalties, super cool.
I also enjoyed the golf one a lot, but I remember a very funny anecdote, playing baseball the controller had a bat, ok, everything was fine, I was playing quietly, it was my turn to bat and I hit it so hard that the controller flew off and I broke my TV. HAHAHA, then my mother broke my face xD. It was a lot of fun playing Wii Sports, one of the best things the Wii had. I loved boxing, I saw it very, very realistic and it really made you sweat and burn calories, for people who hate going out to the gym, can get a Wii and lose weight, I assure you 100%.
Wii was and will be for me an incredible console, very varied and with many good points. It wasn't expensive, which I remember was another big point. Too bad the Wii-u couldn't carry on the legacy of its big brother, I hope to find another Wii lover here at HGC. Thank you for reading this far!
Hace varios días estuve visitando a mi abuela, y me encontré con una muy bonita sorpresa. Encontré la vieja caja de mi Wii antigua, muy pero muy antigua XD. No sé si sus abuelas sean iguales, pero la mía le encanta guardar cosas sin sentido alguno, por ejemplo esa caja es de hace muchos años, me la regalaron el 24 de diciembre, fue un hermoso regalo. Mi regalaron mi Wii y ya venía con un estuche, así que esa caja la "deseché", pero no, mi sorpresa fue que mi abuela aún conservaba esa caja XD.
Hoy les quiero contar lo hermosa que fue esa consola para mí, y de lo arrepentido que estoy por venderla, aunque, claro, fue por una buena causa. Todo se remonta hasta hace unos 8 años, yo tenía unos 11-12 años y me regalaron esta preciosa consola, fue un regalo de diciembre pero muy ansioso me puse a jugar apenas la abrí, no conocía casi nada de esta consola, venía con algunos juegos y eso sí, era bastante bonita, no estaba acostumbrado para nada a ella, pero mis primos mayores me ayudaron a configurar su interfaz y listo, ya podía jugar.
La consola venía con 5 juegos que mis padres eligieron, pero creo que todo fué gracias a los vendedores, mis papás no sabían nada sobre juegos XD, creo que fue una muy buena recomendación. Tenía Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby's y no recuerdo el último XD. Recuerdo que esta consola era muy particular y la veía demasiado novedosa para mí XD. Yo venía de probar mucho la PlayStation 2, pero esta me pareció mucho mejor (en ese momento), y sin duda alguna poco a poco me pude acostumbrar plenamente a ella.
Disfruté demasiado el Mario Kart, era un juego muy desafiante para mí, y competir contra mis amigos era lo que más me divertía, aunque también la IA servía bastante, no era para nada mala, claro, cuándo ya te volvías experto en derrapar, la IA quedaba inútil, pero si tus amigos también eran lo suficientemente buenos cómo tu, se podían armar carreras demasiado emocionantes. Sin duda fue uno de los juegos que más disfruté de la Wii, lástima que no he probado un Mario Kart así de divertido desde esa época.
Obviamente era muy divertido jugarlo con su volante, te sentías exactamente cómo uno de ellos.
Super Mario Galaxy es un juego que no le tomé gran importancia en Wii, sólo lo jugaba algunas veces y ya, pero no lo disfruté cómo debía. Recuerdo que si jugué demasiado en Nintendo DS. Un juego que sorpresivamente no me gustó tanto fué Kirby's. era divertido pero tampoco fue el mejor juego que había jugado en mi vida XD. Eso sí, he jugado Kirby's hace pocos años y si me encantó, tal vez en esa época tenía otros gustos, idk...
The Legends of Zelda si lo jugué, específicamente Twilight, es una locura lo bueno que fue ese título xD. Pero tampoco supe aprovecharlo al 100%, lo jugaba de a ratos, y hey, no está mal hacerlo así, pero estos juegos son inmensos y nunca pude terminarlo, todo por estar jugando a ratos. Jugué un montón de juegos más, pero no recuerdo muy bien algunos, probé algunos Call of Duty, Metroid, y mucho pero mucho Mario Party, amaba hacer competencias con mis amigos, Mario es lo mejor para compartir con amigos, el que piense lo contrario está totalmente equivocado...
Incluso vi una vez que vendían juegos de Bob Esponja, una locura XD.
El apartado que disfruté con toda mi vida, fue el Wii Sports, mi Wii vino con todos los controles para jugar a Tenis, Tenis de mesa, Fútbol, Béisbol, Golf, y boxeo. Dios mio, duraba muchísimas horas quemando calorías jugando tenis, era demasiado divertido y joder, muy realista de la parte de Wii, alguien que haya probado lo mismo que lo confirme en los comentarios... El de Fútbol era divertido porque te amarrabas el control al pié y pateabas penaltis, super cool.
El de golf también lo disfruté bastante, pero recuerdo una anécdota muy graciosa, jugando Béisbol el mando traía un bate, ok, todo bien, yo estaba jugando tranquilamente, me tocaba batear y le dí tan duro que el control salió volando y rompí mi TV. HAHAHA, luego mi madre me rompió la cara xD. Fue muy divertido estar jugando Wii Sports, para mí de las mejores cosas que tenía la Wii. El bóxeo me encantaba, lo veía muy pero muy realista y de verdad te hacía sudar y quemar calorías, para las personas que odian salir al gym, pueden conseguir una Wii y bajar de peso, se los aseguro al 100%.
Wii fue y será para mi una consola increíble, muy variada y con muchos buenos puntos positivos. No era cara, eso recuerdo que era otro gran punto. Lástima que Wii-u no pudo seguir el legado de su hermano mayor, espero conseguirme a otro amante de la Wii aquí en HGC. Gracias por leer hasta aquí!
