We all know the Souls saga, right? A wonderful saga created by a master of this kind of videogames, his name is Hidetaka Miyazaki, well, here we have another of his great creations, a unique game, but with quite a few things from Miyazaki's other creations, here we have a role-playing game with too much action, dungeons, and a lot of darkness and gloomy places, this is the style that Miyazaki is so passionate about (I really don't know, but apparently he loves dark games). I feel fortunate to have been able to play it, the truth is that an experience of this kind is not to be missed.
At the beginning of the game, I noticed that devastated scenery, destruction everywhere, and excellent graphic work. The city of Bloodborne makes you shit yourself, also, the map, in general, has a lot of places to which we can enter, many times I got lost trying to go somewhere hahaha, it looks like a maze. But if we are serious, the game has an incredible finish, the city is wonderful, it's all destroyed, it has a dark aspect, fires everywhere, ruins, etc. Just another Miyazaki's work.
Ok, the gameplay of Bloodborne is very similar to the Souls saga, but we have some quite interesting changes, for example, the most notorious (I think) which is the combat, of course, it is not a change, remember that each game is different and have nothing to do. Anyway, I loved the combat in Bloodborne, we have many interesting mechanics to make our experience better, it's not just simply hit, hit and hit. NOT. Also, dodging hits will be our best weapon, there will be times where we will be fighting some weirdo, and avoiding a hit from him will be almost impossible, the only option is to dodge, and then take a hit at the right time. If we compare it with Miyazaki's other games, we can notice a better combat design that is more sophisticated and cleaner.
As in any game, the adventure is key, here we will also have a giant adventure, of course, it is a fairly linear RPG, but the maps created are brutal, I also remember having tombstones, which function as checkpoints, with them we can go from one place to another, it depends a lot on our goal. We can improve our skills, weapons, learn new moves, etc... The truth is that Bloodborne did not disappoint at all, I think it has a lot of excellent things.
Something I really liked about Bloodborne is its enemies, each enemy is different from the rest, and also, the map is extensive and we will find them anywhere, every door we touch, every place we explore, anywhere we can find them, and the best thing is that they have nothing to do with the main story of the game. We have a pretty good difficulty in Bloodborne, which means that we will die as many times as necessary to learn how to defeat any boss, and yes, the bosses are enigmatic. Here the truth is that I congratulate the entire Bloodborne team, it is simply wonderful to live the battles we will have against the bosses, I do not remember how many there were, but each fight is great.
In the same way, it helps a lot with the great combat system that we have, it is the perfect mix, because the combat does not become boring, impossible, or absurd. Really, if I could still show you how the fights are, I assure you that you will want to play it right away. This is another of the good aspects of Bloodborne, the action we have is great. Although it sounds a bit stupid, farming is important. If by any chance we can't beat a final boss, simply farming a little, then buying potions and trying again will be enough to win. Crazy, isn't it?
The main story of the game is simply a hit, I think getting bored would be absolutely insane. But... We can't forget perhaps the best thing about the game, it is multiplayer. We have the possibility to randomly enter a user's game and help him, or on the contrary, kill him. We can also host the game and do the same, without a doubt the game is a lot of fun in this mode, but... The mode that most caught my attention was the tombstones in something called "The Hunter's Dream". We will advance in a multiplayer way and face different bosses than the ones we saw in the campaign mode, that's excellent!
The best thing about this, is that it has a roguelike touch, randomness plays an important role and we will always be in a different environment, that's why it becomes so much fun for me. The truth is that a multiplayer like this is quite nice, it does not bore us as in other games and gives us another reason for fun apart from the brutal story mode. In its graphical aspect, we have many details, a perfect setting, the game is quite dark, the city is full of all kinds of minimal details, from simple skulls in the rubble, to the sky full of fire. The game deserves all possible merits for this beautiful work.
The soundtrack is brutal, we have epic music for fights, pretty good sounds, from hearing our own footsteps to hearing the environment with any sound. All that makes us live a better experience, lol. Although I've seen many better ones, we should also thank the fact that they didn't forget to polish the soundtrack of the title, I've played a lot of brutal games, but when it comes to seeing the soundtrack we were disappointed a lot.
Here we have another imminent work of art from Hidetaka Miyazaki if you've played Demons Souls, Dark Souls, or any other game of this style. Obviously, you will love Bloodborne, for me, it has been the perfect start for a new saga, the concepts were very clear and the work done is neat. It was to be expected to see this quality for the previous works, no doubt it's a game you must play yes or yes, even, I heard it will be for PS5, I guess it must be 100 times better xD.
NO.
