Hola estimada comunidad de artistas, pintores y creadores de manualidades de esta gran comunidad, tiempo sin venir por acá y hoy quiero compartir este video proceso de la restauración a color de una Guacamaya construida en madera de tamaño real según mi parecer que pertenece a una vecina de mi comunidad, les cuento que iba caminando y la vi en su porche y al observar que estaba empolvada y con pocos detalles en la pintura de la misma me ofrecí a restaurársela y accedió sin saber como quedaría desde luego.

Le comenté que me gusta la pintura y se algo del tema, pasó a mi cas ay vio en las paredes parte del trabajo que realizo y entonces mandó a la nieta a que me la trajera al momento. Así que hoy domingo 02 de febrero me levanté temprano y dije manos a la obra.

Hello dear community of artists, painters and creators of crafts of this great community, long time no come here and today I want to share this video process of the color restoration of a Macaw built in wood of real size according to my opinion that belongs to a neighbor of my community, I tell you that I was walking and I saw it on her porch and noting that it was dusty and with few details in the painting of the same I offered to restore it and agreed without knowing how it would be of course.

I told her that I like painting and I know something about it, she came to my house and saw on the walls part of the work I do and then she sent her granddaughter to bring it to me immediately. So today, Sunday February 2nd, I got up early and said let's get to work.

Restauración con pintura al frio

Como ya había realizado unos trabajos anteriores tenía un poco de pintura al frio de varios colores pero no tenía los de la guacamaya original así que me tomé la libertad de cambiarla completamente de la Guacamaya Bandera como estaba de Amarillo azul y rojo y la especie Ara Araurana muy vista en el centro del país y muy en especial en la ciudad de Caracas donde se les puede observar en los balcones de las casas comiendo de la mano de personas que amablemente las atiende.

No estoy seguro sobre el material empleado en la pintura original, me parece una especie de acrílico por lo brillante que era, sin embargo utilicé pintura al frio, ya mañana le colocaré una especie de capa brillante con una pintura especial para que se vea mucho mejor y su limpieza pueda hacerse con más cuidado.

Restoration with cold paint

As I had already made some previous works I had some cold paint of various colors but I did not have those of the original macaw, so I took the liberty to change it completely from the Banded Macaw as it was yellow blue and red and the species Ara Araurana very seen in the center of the country and especially in the city of Caracas where they can be seen on the balconies of the houses eating from the hands of people who kindly attends them.

I am not sure about the material used in the original painting, it seems to me a kind of acrylic because of how shiny it was, however I used cold paint, tomorrow I will put a kind of shiny layer with a special paint so that it looks much better and its cleaning can be done with more care.

Les invito a ver el video proceso de la restauración que tiene poco más de 7:00 minutos de duración a gran velocidad pero muestra la técnica y la paciencia para la obtención de un bonito resultado final, espero que la dueña de esta obra la cuide y la aprecie ya que me preguntó que cuanto le iba a deber y le dije que nada porque yo fui quien me ofrecí a restaurársela.

Ahora a darle los consejos a la señora Noris de que no debe lavarla con agua sino pasarle un paño seco para quitarle el polvo, no dejarla llevar mucho sol para que la pintura no se deteriore tan rápido entre otros más.
