This past Sunday, July 20, in the morning, a thanksgiving mass was held at the Sam Luis de Rey Mother Church in the city of Villa de Cura for the graduates of the Niños Cantores de Villa de Cura institution, the school where our girls study. At the end of the ceremony, we encountered this lovely detail, which I will describe below.

Among the representatives and attendees at the Mass was Claudia Villasmil, a teacher and professional violinist, professor at the Ángel Briceño School of Music, and renowned instructor in violin teaching and learning. When the Mass ended, the teacher presented the graduates and parishioners in attendance with a set of masterfully performed instrumental songs, but due to my cell phone battery, I was unable to record the entire performance. However, in this video, you can see the quality and professionalism of the teacher, who earned the applause of the audience at the end of her performance.
