Greetings to all, fellow Hive members. It's already the first of the month so Happy Power Up Day. I don't know if you have participated or if you plan to, but I will be participating to increase my HP a bit and get closer to reaching 3,000 HP.
Saludos a todos, compañeros de Hive. Ya es primero de mes así que Feliz Power Up Day. No sé si han participado o si planean hacerlo, pero yo sí participaré para aumentar un poco mi HP y estar mas cerca de llegar a los 3.000 HP.
For this month I did a Power Up of just over 10 HP, which allowed me to reach a total of 2,979 HP, almost 3K.
Believe me, had I had enough Hive, I would have reached my goal this day, but I'm sure next month I'll make it.
Para este mes hice un Power Up de poco más de 10 HP, lo que me permitió alcanzar un total de 2.979 HP, casi los 3K.
Créanme que de haber contado con los Hive suficientes, habría llegado este día a mi meta, pero seguro el mes que viene lo lograré.
To celebrate this Power Up Day with you, I made a little bee figurine, like the ones I usually make for each Power Up Day.
Para festejar este Power Up Day con ustedes, hice una figurita de una abejita, como las que suelo hacer para cada Power Up Day.
This time it is a worker bee, a worker bee that is carrying honey for its honeycomb. It is a symbolism of all the hivers, that day by day we publish and are active here in the blockchain growing our HP and our honeycomb, which is this beautiful blockchain.

In addition to the art involved in this piece, I would also like to share with you the creative process of the sculpture.
To make it I used the following materials:
Además del arte que involucra a esta obra, también me gustaría compartir con ustedes el proceso creativo de la escultura.
Para hacerla usé los siguientes materiales:
To begin with, I wanted to make a sturdy wire because I wanted to preserve this figurine and place it on my shelf.
I wanted to prevent it from being damaged so easily, as has happened to the others, which have fallen off or the cats have hit them and damaged them.
Para empezar, quise hacer un alambre resistente porque quería preservar esta figurita y colocarla en mi estante.
Quería evitar que se dañara tan fácilmente, como me ha pasado con las otras, que se han caído o las gatas las han golpeado y las han dañado.
Not only did I use wire, but I also used tape to secure this figurine and give it an extra touch of strength to withstand any kind of fall.
No solo usé alambre, sino que también usé cinta adhesiva para fijar bien esta figurita y darle un toque extra de resistencia para que aguante cualquier tipo de caída.
The wide part of the skeleton is a barrel, where the little bee carries honey for the honeycomb.
To make it I used brown plasticine to cover the whole area and create the base shape of the barrel.
La parte ancha del esqueleto es un barril, donde la abejita carga miel para el panal.
Para hacerlo usé plastilina marrón para cubrir toda es área y crear la forma base del barril.
Next I used lighter colored brown plasticine to make the straps of this barrel.
With the darker brown from before, I made the handle and also the rim of the opening of this huge honey pot.
Of note, I also used yellow play dough mixed with orange to make the honey dripping from the rim of the barrel.
Seguidamente usé plastilina marrón de un color más claro para hacer los tirantes de este barril.
Con el marrón más oscuro de antes, hice el mango y también el borde de la apertura de este enorme recipiente de miel.
Cabe destacar, que también usé plastilina amarilla mezclada con naranja para hacer la miel que goteaba del borde del barril.
This way the barrel was finished, so it was time to make the body of the bee.
For this I first made a black sphere that I placed at the top, in the middle of the whole horizontal support that I had made for the bee.
De esta manera quedó terminado el barril, así que era hora de hacer el cuerpo de la abejita.
Para esto hice primeramente una esfera negra que coloqué en la cima, en el medio de todo el soporte horizontal que había hecho para la abejita.
For the abdomen I used yellow and black plasticine to make the abdomen.
It was just a matter of making spheres of these colors, squashing them together and then joining them, as shown in the pictures below.
Important, in the abdomen of this little bee I made a hole big enough to be able to fit it in the support.
Para el abdomen usé plastilina amarilla y negra para hacer el abdomen.
Solo fue cuestión de hacer esferas de estos colores, aplastarlos y luego unirlos, tal como se ve en las fotos de abajo.
Importante, en el abdomen de esta abejita hice un agujero lo suficientemente grande para poder encajarlo en el soporte.
Once the abdomen piece was finished, I placed it on the horizontal support, using a little glue so that it would be well fixed on the support.
Below you can see how the figurine is coming along.
Una vez terminadas la pieza del abdomen, la coloqué en el soporte horizontal, usando un poco de pegamento para que este quedara bien fijo en el soporte.
A continuación pueden ver cómo va quedando la figurita.
For the head I decided to make a long and elongated head, with a fairly simple shape and nothing complicated to make.
For the face I decided to give it happy features, because this little bee is smiling and working with joy. I also made the antennae, each and every one of these details with plasticine.
Para la cabeza decidí hacer una cabeza larga y alargada, con una forma bastante sencilla y nada complicada de hacer.
Para la cara decidí darle rasgos felices, pues esta abejita está sonriente trabajando con alegría. También le hice las antenitas, todos y cada uno de estos detalles con plastilina.
For the legs I already had a wire support that connected to the handle of the honey barrel.
I simply covered this support with plasticine and made the other legs, making 4 more legs with black plasticine.
Para las patitas ya tenía un soporte de alambre que conectaba con el mango del barril de miel.
Simplemente cubrí este soporte con plastilina y le hice las otras patitas, haciendo 4 patitas más con plastilina negra.
The last thing was to add the wings, which I did with a light blue color. To these wings I made some lines similar to the ones on a leaf.
Below you can see a couple of pictures of the wings.
Lo último fue agregar las alas, las cuales hice con un color azul claro. A estas alitas les hice unas líneas parecidas a las que tiene una hoja.
Abajo pueden ver un par de fotos de las alas.
The last thing I did was to add some glue to the base of the barrel to glue it to a small cardboard base, to give it a greater stability surface, so the figurine won't fall off when it moves.
Lo último que hice fue agregar un poco de pegamento a la base del barril para pegarlo a una pequeña base de cartón, para darle una mayor superficie de estabilidad, así no se caerá la figurita ante el movimiento.
This way the figure will be finished, here are some pictures of the final result:
