Greetings friends. Although this is not the first time I make a heart accessory, it is always interesting to look to make different models of the same shape. In this case, I wanted to make a divided heart, but not for bad, but for good. It is a symbolism of union between two different things, because two pieces of heart totally imperfect and even with different colors can join each other to form precisely, that heart shape.

Saludos amigos. Aunque este no es la primera vez que hago un accesorio de corazón, siempre es interesante buscar hacer diversos modelos de la misma forma. En este caso, quise hacer un corazón dividido, pero no para mal, sino para bien. Es un simbolismo de unión entre dos cosas diferentes, pues dos trocitos de corazón totalmente imperfectos e incluso con colores distintos pueden unirse uno al otro para formar precisamente, esa forma de corazón.
Tiene otros detalles este pequeño llavero, así que los invito a acompañarme en el proceso creativo de este pequeño llaverito.
Step by step
The materials I used for this keychain were as follows:
- Flexible dough
- Wire
- Paint
- Glue
- Hoops
Paso a paso
Los materiales que utilicé para este llavero fueron los siguientes:
- Masa flexible
- Alambre
- Pintura
- Pegamento
- Argollas
Well, the first thing I did was to create this heart shape that you can see in the image below.
As you know, the flexible dough is white, but because of the nature of what I was going to do I thought it would be a better idea to paint it later, so I made the heart shape with the dough in its base color, white.
Bien, lo primero que hice fue crear esta forma de corazón que pueden ver en la imagen de abajo.
Como bien saben, la masa flexible es de color blanco, pero por la naturaleza de lo que iba a hacer pensé que sería mejor idea pintarlo luego después, así que hice la forma de corazón con la masa en su color base, el blanco.
After making the base shape, I started to make some details on the front of the heart, like a few dots and some lines pointing down. The idea of making all these lines and circles is to make the symbolism of imperfection, instead of making a completely smooth and uniform heart.
In addition to all these little details I made a division in the middle, with a zig zag line in the middle. I also placed on one of the sides a wire with a ring.
Después de hacer la forma base, comencé a hacer algunos detalles en la parte frontal del corazón, como unos cuantos puntos y unas líneas que apuntan hacia abajo. La idea de hacer todas estas líneas y círculos es hacer el simbolismo de la imperfección, en lugar de hacer un corazón completamente liso y uniforme.
Además de todos estos detallitos le hice una división en el medio, con una línea en zig zag al medio. También coloqué en uno de los lados un alambre con argolla.
For the other pieces that connect the key ring to the big ring, I used bijouterie wire to make the piece you can see below.
I first cut the long wire and then made the two rings at each end. I made a total of three of these pieces, which I then covered with flexible dough, as if they were beads and beads, but of large size.
Para las otras piezas que unen al llavero con la argolla grande, usé alambre de bisutería para hacer la pieza que pueden ver abajo.
Primeramente corté el alambre largo y luego hice las dos argollas que tiene a cada extremo. Hice en total tres de estas piezas, que luego cubrí con masa flexible, como si fuesen mostacillas y canutillos, pero de gran tamaño.
Well, below you can see all the pieces that are part of this keychain: the main heart piece and the other pieces that are part of the chain.
Bien, a continuación pueden ver todas las piezas que forman parte de este llaverito: la pieza principal de corazón y las otras que forman parte de la cadena.
After this I started to paint the piece, once it was completely dry, of course. Notice that the small pieces, which are part of the chain, I painted them black as a base color and then I added, with the dry painting technique, some gold and silver tones.
The halves of the heart I painted red and blue respectively, using the same dry brushing technique to give it a silver coating.
Después de esto comencé a pintar la pieza, una vez que esta secó por completo, claro está. Fíjense que las piezas pequeñas, que forman parte de la cadena, las pinté de color negro como base y luego añadí, con la técnica de pintado en seco, algunas tonalidades doradas y plateadas.
Las mitades del corazón las pinté de rojo y azul respectivamente, usando la misma técnica de pintado en seco para darle una capa de plateado.
When the paint dried, I applied a coat of glue and assembled the whole piece. This way the keychain was finished. Below you can see a series of pictures of the final result:
Cuando la pintura secó, apliqué una capa de pegamento y armé toda la pieza. De esta manera el llavero quedó terminado. A continuación pueden ver una serie de fotografías del resultado final:
