This is a shocking story. Usually, the most troublesome social bonds we have are connected to love. No matter if we love right, we could easily get lied by that special person in ways we never expected.

"I'm not what you all think, I'm just a bounty hunter, and I made up all those stories and paid a lot of people to spread the rumors, just to get more jobs and fame." This read very modern, actually.
