Hola a todos mis queridos amigos de Hive, feliz lunes y feliz inicio de semana.
Les comento que el día de hoy les traigo un proyecto hecho por mi mamá y por mi ❤️ el cual nos llevó mucho tiempo ya que era algo que hacíamos en nuestros tiempos libres, es decir solo usábamos un ratito al día para continuar con el proyecto. Al final me gustó mucho el resultado y aquí les traigo el paso a paso de cómo fue todo el proceso.
Comenzamos haciendo el boceto del dibujo que irá en el cojín, en este caso decidimos hacer una linda muñeca.
Vamos a calcar la cabeza y el cuerpo de la muñeca, el vestido y zapatos en entretela. Este tipo de material nos permite darle un refuerzo a la tela para que quede rígida. Para ello debemos planchar la entretela con la tela y así nos quedará.
Vamos a ir armando la muñeca por partes, y vamos a coser a una tela de 30x40 cm que será la base de la muñeca y a su vez la parte delantera del cojín.
Luego podemos hacer decoraciones como el fleco de la falda.
Procedemos con los zapatos, los cuales les hicimos una costura tipo festón para ajustar a cada pie.
Con hilo para tejer hicimos la sonrisa y la marca donde irán los ojos. También compré en la mercería cabello de rulos que se pegó con silicon líquido.
Para decorar también hicimos flores con ramas y hojas por lo cual saque un molde en una hoja blanca. Hacemos el mismo procedimiento que con la muñeca, lo cual consiste en pegar con calor la entretela a la tela rígida estampada con la cual haremos las diferentes flores.
Así nos quedarán.
Continuamos cosiendo con costura tipo festón una por una. Tomamos hilo color marrón y para hacer una costura de cadena que unirá las flores y las hojas.
Pegamos los ojos y collar de la muñeca.
Por último nos queda armar la parte de atrás del cojín, la cual pueden hacer como deseen, en nuestro caso lo hicimos con dos solapas, dejando una mas ancha que la otra, aquí nos les dejo casi explicación ya que la idea de este tutorial era mostrar la técnica del bordado con la que se hizo la decoración. No obstante, en publicaciones anteriores muestro como hacer esta técnica.
Con esto estará listo nuestro bello forro para cojín de cama, espero les haya gustado tanto como a mí hacer este proyecto junto a mi mamá .

Today I bring you a project made by my mom and my ❤️ which took us a long time since it was something we did in our free time, that is, we only used a little while a day to continue with the project. In the end I really liked the result and here I bring you the step by step of how the whole process went.
We start by making the sketch of the drawing that will go on the cushion, in this case we decided to make a cute doll.
We are going to trace the head and body of the doll, the dress and shoes in interlining. This type of material allows us to give a reinforcement to the fabric to make it rigid. To do this we must iron the interlining with the fabric and this is how it will look.
We are going to assemble the doll by parts, and we are going to sew to a 30x40 cm fabric that will be the base of the doll and at the same time the front part of the cushion.
Then we can make decorations such as the fringe of the skirt.
We proceeded with the shoes, which we sewed a scalloped seam to fit each foot.
With knitting yarn we made the smile and the mark where the eyes will go. I also bought some curly hair at the haberdashery and glued it with liquid silicon.
To decorate, we also made flowers with branches and leaves, so I made a mold on a white sheet of paper. We do the same procedure as with the doll, which is to heat glue the interlining to the printed rigid fabric with which we will make the different flowers.
This is how they will look like.
We continue sewing with festoon stitching one by one. We take brown thread and to make a chain stitch that will join the flowers and leaves.
Glue the doll's eyes and necklace.
Finally we have to assemble the back of the cushion, which you can do as you wish, in our case we did it with two flaps, leaving one wider than the other, here I leave almost no explanation because the idea of this tutorial was to show the embroidery technique with which the decoration was made. However, in previous publications I show how to do this technique.
With this our beautiful bed cushion cover will be ready, I hope you liked it as much as I did making this project with my mom.
