Bidding farewell to the old year
There was my dear 84 year old mother who is the center of attention, unfortunately she had her ailments, but there were her children with her and her grandchildren. We are 11 siblings and we have the habit of getting together with mom on Christmas and New Year's Eve, this time 7 siblings attended with their children, the truth is that spending time with this woman is always valuable because she represents what each one of us
We shared a few hours between us, some with my mother and me, others in the kitchen making the last movements for dinner, others joking with vaca (that's how they call my brother's dog who has been with him for many years) and so while the time came we spent pleasant moments.
After a few long hours we finally reached the most exciting hour the New Year's embrace every year we count the minutes together but this time the time came with the national anthem and we began to give each other our New Year's embrace and as always it becomes a total bochinche where we laugh, scream, and then the big hug between all this is a great moment I would say the most anticipated of the year.
At 12:30 minutes past midnight we all joined together to share the New Year's Eve dinner with the Venezuelan dish: hallacas, pernil, ham bread, chicken salad with a great Venezuelan soda glup (soda that became famous because it is the cheapest in the market) he he he he he (laughs).
One of my nieces came with the birthday cake for the whole year so we also celebrated our birthdays with a cake that was very tasty with cream and jelly, first time we added a cake to this celebration now it is also part of our end of the year dinner. In the picture the delicious cake
As every year the photo sessions were not long in coming so we all took our pictures here is one with my sister and user of this platform who is a regular writer of this community 
The celebration began to diminish when we got sleepy, and at 3 am each of the families were saying goodbye with their respective hugs and affection we formally say goodbye to the year 2022 that left many experiences both positive and negative but all we learned something new, many times we laughed together and others we cried, we said goodbye to our older brother who died and received new family members with new births, life with all its processes never ceases to give us life lessons.
