Blue Boat.jpg

Rope frayed and torn, bow rotten to stern.
Holes in hull, paint wearing thin.
And you sit calm, awaiting the storm,
With tide turn at noon, to find a new home.

I took this image in Co.Mayo, Ireland in a seaside town called Westport.
The first time I saw it, I thought it looked so interesting. I took this shot not expected much, but as I extrapolated details when processing it, I was surprised to see the sky had put on a bit of a show too.

I've shot this boat a couple of times at different times over the past few years when I get a chance to spend time in Westport and have not been as lucky as the day I took this image.

I hope you enjoy it!
