Wow, that pretty much says it all about traditional banks. Though I fear banks are well invested in cryptocurrency hence the push to move into bitcoin, they could pump the market hard and squeeze the last bit of worth from people in the next market cycle. Until crypto can find an equilibrium, it can easily be manipulated.
