Today's workshop on Data mining is a success. I was opportune to work hand-in-hand with professional data scientist using series of application software (Rapidminer, SPSS, Anaconda e.t.c).
At the end of the workshop, I was able to grasp lotta information about the concept "DATA MINING" and how it works.
I learnt that Data mining is the act of studying robust pre-existing databases in order to generate new information.
moreso, the major step involved in data mining process are:
- Extracting, transforming and loading data into a data warehouse;
- Storing and managing data in a multidimensional databases
- Providing data access to business analyst using application software and
- Presenting the analysed data in understandable forms such as flow chart, graphs e.t.c
I hope to learning more about Data mining in the next edition of the workshop so as to letting my fellow steemit know more about Data Mining.
