If you play a lot of fantasy football you should be familiar with the term "streaming". Streaming is when you say fuck it to drafting a certain position during your draft and play weekly matchups mostly utilizing the waiver wire. I typically draft QBs and TEs with my last 3 to 5 picks depending on the value there so I find myself using the streamer strategy every year, typically only rostering 1 QB or Te at any given time. Every week I will try and give a deep dive play at the positions using players that may be on most peoples waivers. I'll be basing it off league ownership in Yahoo leagues with no more than 35% ownership rate.
Top qb
Andy Dalton @ Indy. 29% Ownership
While I do think Indy should improve a bit on the defense side (along with offense) it's still a very young squad that will still experience growing pains.
2nd option
Joe Flacco vs Buffalo 7% ownership
If Andy isn't available on waivers then Flacco has to be your guy. Buffalo did have a top ranked pass defense last year, but they are now expected to have one of the worst offenses which equates to more offensive opportunities for the Ravens. I'd have zero fear putting him into a starting lineup.
Tight end streamers
Austin sefarian Jenkins @ Giants 31% ownership
The Giants have been awful vs the tight end for a long time. If ASJ can play through his current abdominal injury he's a must start.
Option 2
Charles Clay @ Baltimore 31% ownership
Clay was the teams top option last year and with 2 inexperienced QBs on the bills I continue to see him as the safest option on a week to week basis. His only issue could be a general lack of opportunities given how bad the team is. Clay is definitely worth a short given his previous track record and his low ownership. Both Tight ends on this list could pan out to be productive for the entire season
