Last week had it's ups and down for my picks. And on most of my teams I had a mix of these guys but never the right combination. I did have Winston everywhere but with his matchup he was a lock for most people, he did hit though. No one should be composing their entire lineups with these picks so 50/50 splits aren't bad. I also try to make picks that are good for cash and gpp. I personally use my defensive and qb picks in nearly every lineup. last week was a huge dissapointment in the defensive slot. I did have Dallas on a couple rosters figuring a low scoring game.

Last weeks picks
QB J Winston 35.9
RB D Johnson 14
RB N Hines 5.5
WR J Brown 4.8
WR Funchess 18.4
WR Godwin 17.6
TE C Clay 6
DEF Oakland 3

Now on to week 7......

QB - Joe Flacco $5400 vs New Orleans

Last week Flacco wasn't quite himself falling below his weekly average of 40 plus attempts. This week should bring him back, in what could be a shootout. New Orleans pass defense isn't even close to what it was in 2017 and they currently rank dead last vs the QB position. With Flacco being one of the cheaper QBs on the slate, he seems like a very safe option.

RB - Duke Johnson $4000 @ Tampa

This has zero reflection on his game last week and more about his growing usage overall and the Tampa defense not being able to stop anything. Tampa can however run up a score board. This could be yet another high scoring game. Based on Johnson's usage (45% snap share 1st on the team) and his growing rapport with Baker Mayfield. This matchup is screaming for a reversion to his former greatness. At 4k it's worth the gamble to assume he can repeat last weeks performance vs one of the worst defenses in the league.

RB - Bilal Powell $4200 vs Minnesota

In nearly every game this season Powell has seen just as many looks as team mate Isiah Crowell. But facing stiff competition (especially against the run) I'd expect the jets to be on the losing side of this one. If that's the case you can expect a heavy dose of Bilal Powell. That's not the only reason. Powell has been no slouch when given his share of the opportunities. He currently ranks 17th in the league in rushing with 323 yards and 29th in reception yards with 105. In total he ranks 17th among running backs in total yards from scrimmage. If Minnesota takes a big and early lead, Powell could have a big day. If not his floor should be pretty solid

WR - Alshon Jeffery $6300 vs Carolina

Since Jeffery has returned to the Eagles he has been the top target for Wentz at WR commanding 9, 8 ,and 12 targets in the last 3 games and just over 27 points in 2 of them. While this matchup may be fairly tough, Alshon is looking like the healthy and elite receiver of old. At this price with the Eagles passing volume, Alshon will be a lock for a lot of my rosters.

WR - Sterling Shepard $5400 @ Atlanta

I'll be honest. I was going to tout Devin Funchess here vs Philadelphia at a slightly cheaper price. He's still an awesome play but Sheppard could be packing a tad more upside vs a bad ATL defense. Sheppard has been seeing a healthy dose of 7 targets per game. He also currently stands amongst WRs, 23rd in targets (43), 19th in receptions (31), 13th in yards after catch (135), and 9th in red zone receptions (5). All this while posting a 72% catch rate. When the targets come his way, Shepard has been able to deliver. Every team that has faced ATL this season except for Philly has been able to rack up points. The only real question is will Eli be able to deliver this week. I'd expect OBJ to finally find the end zone this week but there should be plenty of TDs to go around.

WR - KeKe Coutee $4200 @ Jacksonville

Since joining the team a few weeks ago Coutee has been a monster. He's averaging 9 targets a game and has a target share of 25% in the offense which is just shy of Nuk. He's also boasting almost 2.5 yards of separation per route run. Coutee is getting open, demanding targets, and becoming Watson's favorite underneath target. On paper his matchup doesn't seem ideal. With the Jags elite corners they have been known to surrender a lot of yardage underneath. His price tag carries with it a lot of upside, and with his price he could be a nice compliment to a more sure fire higher priced WR like Adam Thielin.

TE - CJ Uzomah $3400 @ KC

Since the Eifert injury and even when Tyler Kroft is healthy, CJ has emerged as the Bengals new TE. Last week he was able to take advantage of a poor Steelers defense and now we have a better matchup vs the chiefs. Expect this game to be very high scoring as chiefs games go and plenty of opportunities for all the Bengals weapons. If you wanted to pay up a little more David Njoku at $4200 is also an excellent play against Tampa.

I'm still tilting pretty hard over my first draft getting deleted on me.

And for what it's worth my original write up had a lot more info to back my picks. Next week's should be better. I do prefer using my partiko app, but I may not be loading pictures again if it messes with my work. And I will be moving my drafts back to g docs lol…..
