Thank you for your feedback with these thoughts!
I feel like we definitely think on a similar wavelength.

The point about the machine is an interesting one.

I can tell you some stories, of giant tanks and guns and bombs I blew up, and was only a diesel mechanic.

I never really questioned why I was being chosen for such advanced levels of training that really didn't have a whole lot to do with my job.

but the point is this,

prior the military, I only saw these things on tell-a-vision.

From another angle, of someone who has never experienced these things, it may all seem as a movie, CGI, and questionable as to whether or not it is even real, because tanks are not rolling down most streets everyday.

If you don't see it in your real life, can you ever know for certain if it is real, or something made up?

The same is apparent for the juxtaposition.

In that Covid was more of something I just watched happen on a screen, but maybe someone who has a story to tell about it with their own experience can tell me how wrong I am about my perception.

When thinking about the machine, I think about all aspects of life that seem unnatural in our natural world. This encompasses everything we call "technology."

I leave that rabbit hole there for now.

It was a pleasure exchanging these thoughts with you :)
