The truth is, you write some good poetry @owasco.
And also very thought provoking, especially in today's environment where truth seems to be a battlefield of ideologies:
truths that have been crafted for us
not by us
Spoonfed ideology seeking is what I like to refer to this as.
A warrior preparing to fight a battle he has been told is just.
Sharpening his blade for the battlefield (crafting/smithing)
It creates hardened warriors, prepared to kill for a "truth" that is not ones own. (Maybe not literally kill in every scenario, but the response is akin to a warrior mindset at times.)
Religion comes to mind with box thinking, ideologies of indoctrinated belief that cannot be questioned, and must be accepted as truth.
influences from outside the self
are false for any self
I see the truth in this, and it makes it easier for me to not feel offended by the truths of others, because with truth that I have experienced, it is my truth, and with this truth comes wisdom. I don't feel the need to chop down the opposition, I only feel empathy towards people who are the causation of their own turmoil and self harm, because the absolute need to battle my truth is testament to a falsity of their self. (outside crafted truths)
The hardest truth
is that truth can not be told
Indeed. I find that experience is the ultimate source of truth.
Great post as always my friend.
