That is very insightful in turn of you to think of the power consumption. It is certainly not cheap. The lights I'm running generally use about one hundred dollars USD per month. In comparison to older technology, this is much cheaper than the old school stadium style lights would cost.
Power outages are not much of a thing where I live and would be devastating to my garden.
I hope this issue in your region get's resolved because no one should go without electricity as a basic necessity in society.
