It definitely is pretty cool that additive manufacturing works for this, but the material I use is probably not recommended, being PLA, it has a pretty low melting point. Not sure what the best material to use for that would be, but maybe TPU would work. Some serious studying would be involved in additive manufacturing of firearms.

Being able to print two different kinds of metal simultaneously is really awesome.

I think I saw some 3D metal printing online recently. Not sure if I would personally ever get into that kind of manufacturing but it's definitely cool.
