That is a beautiful park for an evening or early morning walk. The park view is still sustainable because of the artificial lights and it gives a special kind of quality to the place.

I think it's also natural to want to go when less people are around, because parks are an escape from the hustle and bustle of life, and if all of the people you're trying to get away from meet you at the local park then it doesn't have the same "get away" effect.
