When I first stepped foot in the US state California I was eighteen years of age (twenty years ago), and one of the first things I saw was magazine dispensers on many of the street corners.

Those magazine dispensers were filled with sex worker magazine advertisements and my first thought was "How is this possible when prostitution is illegal in the USA?" (Except for Nevada. As far as I know that's the only US state where sex work is legal.)

Needless to say I not only took a look, I was calling those numbers.. 😂
