Like other commenters on this review, this was a childhood classic for me, and I actually read it a couple of times because it was one of my favorites, along with Call of the Wild.

I really like how you went into Jack London's life and were able to correlate documented experiences throughout his life in relation to how he constructed his books. That is very insightful and makes me wonder how many people consider an authors life history while reading their books.

With all the information links you added as well, this review is likely one of the best out there for this book.
