Hey dear Dtubers and Steemians,
it´s time for my next travel Vlog and in this video Im at the Ramla Bay Beach on Gozo island with nice red sand. It´s the only sand beach on Gozo. The sand produced by their physical disintegration is transported by longshore drift to the cove of the bay where it accumulates to form the sandy beach.
The Ramla Bay Beach is often reffered to locally as "Ramla il-Hamra" - the Red Sandy Beach. Ramla is a really beautiful place to swim, snorkel and chill out in the sun. This beach is about 400 metres long and about 100 metres wide in the middle.
You can also see the Calypso Cave on a hill from the beach and if you are fit enough, you can climb this hill to have a beautiful view over the Ramla Bay. Of course I did it and recorded a Vlog for you - Stay tuned!
