TRUST IS A MUST

Writings: Psalm 37, 33 and 16 Psalm 37:3-5 "Trust in the LORD, and do great; so shall thou stay in the land, and verily thou shall be bolstered. Enjoyment thyself likewise in the LORD: and he shall give you the wants of your heart. Submit thy way unto the LORD; trust likewise in him; and he shall convey it to pass. Hymn 33:20-21 "Our spirit sits tight for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall celebrate in him, since we have trusted in his heavenly name."

Hymn 16:1 "Save me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust." and v. 11 "Thou wither demonstrate to me the way of life: in thy nearness is completion of bliss; at thy right hand there are delights for evermore." When I was in my late pre-adulthood, we lived adjacent to a family that had a child about my age. We were companions. The father was a bizarre individual. For example, one Christmas, the child and his sister hung their Christmas leggings on the mantle over the chimney and the father filled them with dairy animals fertilizer and afterward had the irk to gloat about it to neighbors.

He got the youngsters no different Christmas gifts. On one event, the child had climbed a tree and had become turned with the goal that he couldn't move down the way he had moved up. He required his father who stated, "Hop and I will get you." The kid hopped and the father moved and let him hit the ground. He was somewhat harmed. The father said to him, "Let that be an exercise to you – never trust anybody!" What does "trust" mean? The Dictionary importance is: "Firm conviction, confidence; to believe in; to confer; a conviction or trust in a higher power."

"Confidence" and "Trust" are utilized conversely. In the Old Testament "trust" utilized all the more regularly - a little more than 100 times. In the New Testament "trust" is utilized under 20 times. In the Old Testament "confidence" is utilized less than 6 times while it happens in the New Testament more than 240 times. The point? The terms are essentially the same. On the off chance that we are trusting we have confidence; on the off chance that we have confidence we are trusting. Trust is an unquestionable requirement on the off chance that we need to please God. Jews 11:6 lets us know "Without confidence (trust) it is imposs-ible to please God." Trust is the single word that depicts both how to end up a Christian and how to carry on with the Christian life.

The antitoxin to stress, fear, outrage, debilitation is trust in our helpful, great, omniscient Heavenly Father! Trust is an absolute necessity! Give us a chance to concentrate upon the Psalms demonstrated and check whether we can extricate a response to the inquiry, "What is trust?

I. THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF TRUST. To start with, there are the dynamic components of trust. In Psalm 37:1-9 there are no less than 3 dynamic components associated with trusting. They are:

The Element Of Trusting: "Trust in the LORD, and do great… .."; We should effectively, deliberately, eagerly and intentionally put our trust in the Lord. B. v.4 The Element Of Delighting: "Pleasure thyself likewise in the LORD… ."; Trusting the God Who is responsible for time past, present and future is the happy express that the Lord wants for His kids. The product of trusting in the Lord is a great ordeal in reality.
The Element Of Committing: "Submit thy way unto the LORD; trust likewise in him; and he shall convey it to pass." The way to trusting and enchanting is in conferring oneself and the greater part of life's changes, vacillations and fortunes to the Lord Who is "ready to do surpassing, liberally over all that we ask or think." (Eph. 3:20)
