Lately, I find myself reading posts in Steemit.com’s trending page. It was just days after the implementation of HF21/22 and it seemed that the EIP is working quite well. The trending page is being swept out of “bidboted” contents and are being replaced by manually curated “interesting” contents. What’s even more interesting is the fact that bib bot accounts are also manually curating for contents. With my recent experiences here in Steem, I feel like I’m in a steem world of an alternate universe - some called it the #newsteem.
Although the price of steem was not really affected by this new experience however, since I’m all in for Steem, I don’t mind the price if I’m already having a great time with my steem experience.
If you were to ask me, what would I choose a Steem priced at $7 but everything is a mess or a Steem that is priced at $0.15 but with a platform that is buzzing with great contents.
Who wouldn’t want Steem to moon? Every one of us! JK…
On a more serious note, as much as I want Steem to moon, I would prefer a platform that offers more valuable content and less about the token’s value.
Since we’re starting over, let’s focus on the real reason why Steem platforms exist - “content discovery”. And let the value of the Steem token speak for itself.
