Whenever I see leaves, I often look at them like they are pieces of artwork. They may seem simple at first, but the longer I look, the more I notice the details. Each leaf has its own pattern, shape, texture, and character. Even leaves from the same tree can look slightly different from one another, which makes them even more interesting to photograph.
That is one thing I find amazing about nature. It can create so much beauty through randomness. No two leaves are exactly the same. Some are fresh and smooth, while others have holes, marks, or rough textures. But even those imperfections add something special to the photo. They make the subject look more natural and full of story.
These photos are a good example of that. The veins of the leaves are clearly visible, especially in black and white. Without color, the patterns become more noticeable, and the contrast gives the image a stronger feeling. The damaged leaves also caught my attention because they show that beauty is not only found in perfect things. Sometimes, the worn and imperfect ones are even more interesting.
I also like how the light passes through some of the leaves. It reveals the tiny details that we often miss when we are just walking by. Photography helps me pause and appreciate those small things.
Nature always has something to offer, even in the simplest forms. A single leaf can be enough to remind me how creative and beautiful the world can be.
They look nice in photos, but they are even more meaningful when we take time to truly notice them.
Have a good day ahead.
