I may not be a big fan of rain, but with the weather being so warm lately, I feel like we badly need some rain shower here. The garden looks like it could use a refreshing drink, and the air also feels like it needs to cool down a bit.
Although it did not rain today, I still want to share some photos that remind me of how beautiful and refreshing rain can be. These were taken from the days when rain showers fell over the garden, leaving droplets on the leaves and flowers. Looking at them again makes me appreciate those moments more.
The raindrops on the leaves look amazing, especially in black and white. They look like tiny crystals resting on the surface, reflecting the light in a simple but beautiful way. Without color, the droplets, shadows, and leaf textures become more noticeable. It gives the photos a calm and fresh feeling.
Sometimes we complain about rain because it stops us from going out comfortably. But when the weather becomes too warm and dry, we begin to realize how important rain really is. It gives life to the plants, cools the surroundings, and brings a different kind of beauty to the garden.
These photos remind me that every kind of weather has its purpose. Sunny days give energy, while rainy days give nourishment. Maybe life is also like that. We need both brightness and quiet refreshing moments to keep growing.
I hope rain will visit us soon and bring back that fresh feeling to the garden.
Have a good day ahead.
