Looking at these leaves, I started thinking about life and how we are trying to live it. They are no longer perfect. There are holes, dark spots, and signs of age, yet somehow, I still find them interesting enough to photograph. In black and white, their imperfections become even more noticeable, giving the images texture, character, and a story of their own.
It made me wonder—what is really the best way to live our lives?
Should we simply go through our daily routines, doing the same things over and over again until the days slowly pass? Or should we try to live in a way that creates something meaningful and leaves a lasting impact on the people around us?
Maybe there is nothing wrong with an ordinary life. I actually enjoy simple living and the peacefulness that comes with it. But I also believe that even within a simple life, we can still make a difference. Sometimes, it doesn't require something grand. A kind word, helping someone, sharing what we know, or simply being present for another person can become part of the impact we leave behind.
This Sunday feels like a good time to reflect on the past while also being mindful of the future. We cannot change what has already happened, but we can learn from it and decide how we want to move forward.
Just like these leaves carrying the marks of everything they have gone through, perhaps our own experiences are what give our lives character.
Live life to the fullest, appreciate the journey, and whenever possible, leave something meaningful behind for others.
Have a good day ahead!
