I still have quite a few photos sitting in my phone that I haven’t shared yet, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to bring some of them out. Sometimes I take photos during my walks and completely forget about them until I scroll through my gallery again.

These photos are mostly of flowers I noticed growing along the road. They are the kind of flowers that people probably pass every day without paying much attention to them. They are not necessarily large or dramatic, but when you stop for a moment and look closely, there are plenty of interesting details to appreciate.

I guess I’m simply quite observant whenever I’m walking. My eyes naturally look for flowers, leaves, textures, patterns, and anything that might make an interesting photograph. Once something catches my attention, it is difficult for me not to take out my phone and capture it.

That is also one of the reasons why I enjoy photography so much. It encourages me to notice things that might otherwise be ignored. A simple flower beside the road can become something beautiful when you look at it from the right angle and pay attention to its form and texture.

Converting these photos into black and white also gives them a different character. Without the distraction of color, the shapes, details, highlights, and shadows become more noticeable. This is something I continue to enjoy exploring in my photography.

Maybe beauty is everywhere around us, but we become too busy to notice it. Sometimes, all we need is to slow down and pay a little more attention.

Have a good day ahead!
