Last night brought a heavy rain, and because of that, this morning felt a little more chilly than usual. I actually like this kind of weather. It has that refreshing feeling that makes a morning walk even more enjoyable. The air felt cleaner, the surroundings looked calmer, and the little bit of sunshine that appeared was just enough to make the morning feel balanced and beautiful.
Of course, I could not miss the chance to go outside and take a few photos. What immediately caught my attention were the raindrops resting on the leaves. They looked amazing. The droplets seemed to cling so perfectly to the surface, reflecting light in such a delicate way. Even in black and white, they still carried so much beauty. In fact, I think the monochrome look made the textures and shapes stand out even more.
Sometimes, it is these simple moments that remind me why I enjoy photography so much. A leaf after the rain may seem like an ordinary subject, but when you stop and really look at it, there is already so much beauty there. Nature does not need to try hard to impress us. It quietly offers these little scenes every day, and all we need to do is pay attention.
This morning also reminded me that beauty often comes after the rain. A heavy downpour last night could have been seen as inconvenient, but today it left behind something beautiful for me to appreciate. Maybe life is like that too. Sometimes, the difficult or uncomfortable moments leave behind something meaningful if we are patient enough to notice it.
I’m glad I was able to capture this peaceful moment and share it here.
Have a good day ahead.
